Mission Statement
To make and donate quilts of all sizes to those who have Health Issues
About This Cause
We are a registered non-profit Society with Government of Nova Scotia and our primary directive is to make quilts for children and adults requiring medical assistance, both mental and physical. We are a group of 13 women using mostly donated material to make quilts for the IWK Garron Unit, Renal Dialysis Unit and the Resource Center in Lower Sackville. We meet at Acadia Hall, 650 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville every Wednesday from 9 - 12 as well as our own personal time at home to cut/sew quilts for those in need . We also use this time to socialize with like minded seniors.
