Mission Statement
Serving Other Souls Association is a volunteer organization committed to helping throughout their communities in Nova Scotia. We reach out to seniors, low income and disabled individuals. We have a board of directors to plan and oversee at least 4 hours a week serving through acts of kindness such as grocery delivery, driving seniors to appointments, compassionate phone calls, or delivering a meal or dessert.
About This Cause
One of our main projects for the future is to develop a services directory which will serve as a source of information on all programs available to individuals in need of assistance. Our SOS services directory will be funded by businesses and public donations. It will serve businesses and the public through advertising, discounts and a list of services. A branch of our volunteers will be directly involved as advocates to hep individuals access and benefit from programs. Our group ahs successfully helped many individuals since 2018.
