About This Cause
The Carbon Community Centre is 60+ years old and is the heart of our community. It provides a place for the community to connect, socialize, and contributes to a strong and vibrant community culture. Our community centre provides this by hosting many community events such as, weddings, annual Sports Days dinner & cabaret, birthday & Christmas parties, baby showers, meetings, Discovery Night, and so much more. Our community centre is the home to the Village of Carbon Library which contributes to the well-being and health of our community by providing information, supporting literacy, and bringing people together. It is also the home to the Seniors Centre that serves as a meeting centre for our seniors to connect with each other. It keeps our seniors active and independent and promotes healthy aging.
