Mission Statement
To provide a safe indoor space and effective programming to meet the needs of families of Flagstaff County and surrounding area. We develop and operate programs and events that provide positive connections on our communities. We create opportunities to break down familial isolation barriers, encourage support systems, assist in building sustainable and dynamic relationships while providing a place to encourage children, under the age of 6, to be active and healthy with their peers.
About This Cause
Parents for Fun in Flagstaff operates the Family Resource Centre. We have an indoor playground structure, literacy corner, free play area and offer several different programs for children age 0-6. Some examples include infant massage, playgroup, baby sign, yoga and Sportball, monthly kid’s book club, prenatal classes, literacy adventure days, moms connection group and dad's rough and tumble programs As well we offer educational parenting sessions like Triple P Parenting, first aid classes, positive discipline, car seat inspections and several presentations from Alberta Health Services.
