Mission Statement

To advocate, develop, and maintain mountain bike trails and to promote active, fun, environmentally responsible community involvement. (Translation: To build, shred, and high-five)

About This Cause

Formed in 2009, MMBTS is comprised of mountain bikers, dedicated to the accessibility of trails and support of mountain biking in the Moose Mountain and surrounding area. MMBTS encourages a healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle by providing a well-maintained network of mountain bike trails. The network is environmentally sustainable, and has been a source of recreation for the riding communities in and around Calgary for nearly 10 years. The trails are free to use, and MMBTS events are low cost or free for participants. The Moose Mountain trails are accessible to riders of all ages and abilities. MMBTS also provides riders access to an enthusiastic, engaging, supportive community of like-minded people who share a passion for mountain biking. Each season MMBTS hosts a range of events including an AGM, trail days, casual group rides, toonie races, full enduro races, and more. Events are open to MMBTS members and the public.
