Mission Statement
The Western Canada Hubei Association is dedicated to promoting connections, fostering mutual aid, and building a strong community among individuals originating from or with close ties to Hubei Province of China, who now reside in the Western Canada Area. Our purpose is to cultivate friendship, unity, cooperation, and mutual support among our members through various social and family assistance activities. We believe in the power of fostering relationships and supporting one another. By creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, we aim to strengthen the bonds within our community and provide a platform for personal and professional growth. We value collaboration and actively seek friendly cooperation with other community-oriented associations, societies, and organizations in Canada. Furthermore, the Western Canada Hubei Association aims to serve as a bridge between Canada and the different regions of China, particularly Hubei Province. We strive to promote Canada-China cooperation by facilitating mutual exchanges in cultures, education, and economic development. Our association is committed to providing services that contribute to meaningful interactions and understanding between these two nations. In pursuit of our mission, we organize a diverse range of activities and services. These include cultural festivals, celebrations, and gatherings that highlight the richness of Hubei's heritage, fostering intercultural exchanges. We also provide support and resources to families, including newcomers, to help them integrate into Western Canadian society and overcome challenges. Networking opportunities in the form of seminars, workshops, and events are offered to facilitate professional connections and enhance career development prospects. Additionally, we promote educational initiatives, scholarships, and exchanges to encourage learning, knowledge sharing, and academic growth. Recognizing the importance of community outreach, we actively engage in service projects that contribute to the well-being and development of the broader Western Canada community.
