Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide an environment for girls to love the game of softball and be inclusive to all skills and abilities. In March of 2019, we aligned with Little League, as their grass roots program, fair play philosophies, and international competitive opportunities were a perfect fit for our league.
About This Cause
YYC Softbal Little League provides an alternative softball program for female youth athletes in Calgary and surrounding areas. Our regular season is inclusive to all skills and abilities and the focus is on skill development in a fun and social environment. In 2022, we started a Spring Travel Teams. These teams compete in 3-4 tournaments in addition to the house league games. Our summer season will focus on competitive softball for those players looking to compete in Tournament Play. As our league grows, so does our program. This year we are offering 3 levels of play. House League, Hybrid, and a Competitive Spring Travel Team Stream with many social event opportunities.
