Mission Statement
To help facilitate Vaughan’s Muslim population in integrating and prospering with the diverse Canadian population in order to establish a progressive future. Also to establish the freedom to practice their Islamic beliefs by preserving their cultural values within guidelines of The Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
About This Cause
Islamic Society of Vaughan is a registered charity organization. This society is one of the most educated Muslim societies in Canada. The aim of this multicultural group is to have a place for the entire Muslim community to pray, gather, and have a safe place to learn religion and be indulged in healthy sports activities too. We all believe in the Quran and Sunnah and keep all the other differences at bay. We are raising funds to build a stand-alone masjid for Muslims from all over the city of Vaughan. In the past, we have completed two Musallah projects. But, none of these were big enough to accommodate our rapidly increasing Muslim population. This time, we want to go for a space to accommodate a larger number. We aim to have a safe, peaceful place for Muslim brothers, sisters, and children's to associate with the soothing shade of Islam.
