Mission Statement
DiversiTrade Resource & Connection Centre is a not-for-profit society that exists to advance and support diversity in the skilled trades and construction industry.
About This Cause
Our volunteer based group has evolved from the successful Alberta Women in Trades Facebook group and Pride in Construction initiatives to offer more to the ever-growing communities within the construction industry. We are here to direct individuals to established organizations and leverage existing networks while creating a welcoming community for everyone. Our goal is to support individuals who are excited about careers in the skilled trades and bury the stigma that a journeyperson certificate isn’t enough. It can be your first option and lead to a successful, rewarding career. Through our extensive and continually growing network of online resources, events, and initiatives, DiversiTrade can be your first and only stop to find the information you need.
