About This Cause
The Health and Home Care Foundation of BC is the fundraising arm of the Health and Home Care Society of BC. The Society (also known as "Care BC") operates three charitable programs: 1) Meals on Wheels (Western and Chinese), serving homebound seniors across Vancouver and Richmond every weekday. 2) The Family Respite Centre, providing temporary respite care for family members caring for loved ones at home. 3) The Community Integration Project, assisting people with newly acquired disabilities adapt to their housing and daily living needs – the CIP offers two specially-designed and equipped apartments to help during this process.
