About This Cause
Support Families in Crisis. Restore Stability with Compassion. Founded in September 2024, WEcare Workplace Foundation began with a clear and urgent mission: To bring relief and restore dignity to individuals and families in the workplace facing sudden crises. Life can change in an instant. A medical emergency, the unexpected loss of a spouse’s income, or a personal breakdown can push even the most stable employee into survival mode. That’s where WEcare steps in—to provide critical support before hardship turns into job loss, burnout, or long-term instability. What We Do Respite Support We provide temporary relief—like childcare, cleaning services, and social support—for employees facing unexpected disruptions to their ability to work. Essential Supplies We distribute free clothing, hygiene kits, toys, and basic household items to families in need. Because everyone deserves the essentials—especially during crisis. Emotional & Community Care We offer compassionate care through one-on-one counseling, peer support, and community connection—meeting emotional needs with dignity and empathy. Why This Work Matters Our mission is powered by real people like Chris and Ola. Chris was diagnosed with a sudden illness that made working impossible for months, leaving him without income and struggling to care for his family. Ola, a single mother, sank into a deep depression but couldn’t afford to take time off—her children depended on her paycheck. These stories are not unique—but they are urgent. And they’re the reason WEcare exists. We go beyond financial aid to provide practical support and emotional restoration, so employees can stay in the workforce and families can stay together.
