Mission Statement
QSLA Foundation provides financial assistance for registration fees, scholarships or bursaries to youth aged 4-29, for participation in academically driven athletic programs. We also aim to decrease the gender gap in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) educational pathways and sports. Because females are underrepresented in STEM-related field and sports, QSLA Foundation aims to inspire young women to choose and sustain a STEM educational or career path by providing exposure to successful female role models, promoting confidence through achievements and providing opportunities to engage in athletics combined with STEM topics. We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines of a court, or the back of a classroom, and that all youth should be given the opportunity to experience the plethora of positive benefits of organized sports, as well as thrive in any classroom environment.
