Provide a safe, comfortable, and compassionate environment for those eligible to receive MAiD, while supporting MAiD providers and assessors, patients and their families and the general public.
About This Cause
MAiDHouse is devoted to providing a supportive, inclusive and home-like setting for medical assistance in dying (MAiD). Eligible patients will be able to access the procedure with their chosen provider in a safe, humane and comfortable space. The first MAiDHouse location is in Toronto. MAiDHouse also aims to provide information, resources and services for patients, families and healthcare providers. MAiDHouse is part of Assisted-Dying Resource Centres Canada (ARCC), a Canada not-for-profit corporation and registered charity in Toronto. We are a group of doctors, nurse practitioners, ethicists, advocates and volunteers who believe in choice, tranquility and dignity at the end of life for patients and their families. Our Vision: Enhancing access to personal choice in Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). Your donation to MAiDHouse will support our first location in Toronto, Ontario, to meet the needs of eligible patients, who have no other place to receive MAiD.
