Mission Statement

Overcôme Syngap1 aims at raising awareness on a genetic disorder, SYNGAP1, and helping families affected by the disease.

About This Cause

Mutations of the SYNGAP1 gene in humans can cause intellectual disability and/or epilepsy. This gene is also related to autism. By fundraising we hope to find a cure. Funds will be given to Dr Michaud and his team of researchers at the Sainte Justine Hospital in Montreal.
