About This Cause
Victory House is a registered charity offering temporary housing and supportive programs for women and children in times of need. We offer a supportive and peaceful place to stay for up to 6 months and longer if determined a need. Resident can learn, grow and recover from some of life's most difficult seasons. Individual programs for each resident will be created for them and by them. Support will be offered in areas such as budgeting, housing, legal matters, child care, resume building and further education. Empowering women to change their lives and to move forward. Our Goals are to renovate an existing building that has been donated for use for 25 years. The building will have 6 bedrooms providing safe housing for up to 6 women and their children. It is set in a peaceful, rural location. The surrounding nature will help to heal the broken hearted. We will provide a safe environment offering spiritual and practical support to promote healthy life decisions. The Victory House/Bridge Apartment housing 2 women and their children opened in 2021. This Bridge Apartment "bridge the gap" until the Victory House renovations are complete. In 2020 during the Covid pandemic we opened a Re-use Thrift Store called Victory Lap Emporium to help support Victory House and the operating needs of the Victory House/Bridge apartment. You can be a part of this loving and supportive team. You could volunteer your time, make donations to the store, offer your services in kind, help with fundraising, donate financially to Victory House Association.
