About This Cause
Iskotew Training Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to providing culturally informed training and resources to Indigenous youth and communities within Treaty 6 Territory. Our mission is to prepare Indigenous youth for meaningful careers in emergency services by delivering comprehensive training that emphasizes employability skills, mental health awareness, cultural teachings, and holistic personal development. Our values center on promoting hope, belonging, and purpose, supporting mental wellness, and fostering strong relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Through these efforts, we aim to empower Indigenous individuals, enrich community ties, and cultivate successful futures rooted in cultural pride and resilience.
