Mission Statement
We are the registered charitable partner of Go Green Youth Centre and raise funds for the advancement of education. By fostering teamwork, resilience, and lifelong learning, we create opportunities for youth to grow, succeed, and lead vibrant, healthy lives. Our CRA-registered charity is dedicated to providing funding and support for educational initiatives aimed at children and youth living in the neighbourhood improvement areas of Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park. Partnering with schools, educators, and community members we strive to create a brighter future for them through the power of education. These programs are delivered on Go For It's behalf by Go Green Youth Centre.
About This Cause
Go For It was established to provide financial support to its related not-for-profit entity Go Green Youth Centre's (GGYC's) youth-led educational initiatives. These initiatives include GGYC's existing music, media arts, cooking & nutrition, computer coding, and academic tutoring programs focused primarily on literacy and numeracy. It also covers GGYC's leadership and career planning workshop series. Go For It has contracts in place with GGYC that allow GGYC to carry out these aforementioned charitable activities on Go For It's behalf.
