Mission Statement
The Islamic Centre of Markham (ICM)'s mission is to provide the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with a robust cultural centre that nourishes souls, enriches minds, and cultivates community. We aim to provide a comprehensive range of cultural, educational, and social programs to the residents of the GTA. Our aim is to be a dynamic and inclusive institution, focused on developing and engaging current and future generations of Canadians. As a Community Centre in the GTA, our organization also strives to incorporate a range of social programming to meet the communal and cultural needs of our people. Our services include: Community Programs, Seniors' Programs, Youth Programs, Sports and Recreation, as well as Interfaith events.
About This Cause
We provide many programs and services of which a few are listed below: - Educational Classes - Monthly Seminars - Adult Learning Programs/Classes - Workshops (Mental Health & Wellness, Financial & Digital Literacy, Career Counselling, etc.) - Counselling Sessions - Sports (Karate, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Hockey, etc.) - Summer Camp - Fitness Room & Classes
