Mission Statement

The Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that scientific advancements in neurodevelopmental health are transformed into real-world solutions. Through our partners under the Kids Brain Health umbrella, KBHF works with communities, industry, government, and non-profit organizations, accelerating the implementation of research-driven projects that provide measurable benefits to children and families across Canada.

About This Cause

More than 400,000 kids under the age of 14 in Canada live with a neurodevelopmental disability. While there continues to be significant advancement in the science of children’s brain health, these discoveries often don’t make it to the children and families who need it. Kids Brain Health Foundation is working to change that. We bridge the gap between science and families, connecting Canada’s leading researchers, clinicians and innovators with children who can benefit most from their work to help kids live their best lives. The research we have supported makes earlier diagnosis possible. We support the evaluation of new and effective treatments, finding out what works, and exploring better ways to support children and their families.
