Mission Statement
The Canadian Animal Blood Bank is a not-for-profit (CRA registered Charity) that saves the lives of dogs by leading education in transfusion medicine and making the highest quality blood available to veterinarians, dogs, and their families. We engage pet owners to volunteer their qualified dogs to participate in whole blood collections. The blood is collected, locally processed, and then made available to veterinarian hospitals and clinics across Canada.
About This Cause
The Canadian Animal Blood Bank currently collects and processes blood in Manitoba, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. The demand for transfusion products collected is high and we need your financial assistance to reach our goal of having transfusion products available to every dog in need across Canada. Your donation would help us to purchase vital equipment and supplies required to collect and process animal whole blood into various life-saving components. As a non-profit charitable organization, the Canadian Animal Blood Bank can only expand to new communities with these supplies.
