To promote positive and vibrant aging through creative expression amongst older adults.
About This Cause
Since 2009, we have been helping bring creativity and inspiration to aging Calgarians. Started out training practitioners and nurses on how to incorporate creative activity with senior populations, we have now evolved to directly providing art programming to isolated seniors in Calgary. We have two programs that your donations will help fund: 1) Art kits for Seniors: We create and donate art kits free of charge to seniors who live alone or in supportive living facility. Each kit has instructions for them to do their own project. 2) Pop Art for Seniors: We bring guest speakers and teachers to different facilities in Calgary and teach art and music lessons to seniors so they can have creative lessons at no cost.
