Mission Statement
Our mission is to SAVE the LIVES of DOGS that are OUT OF TIME in high kill shelters. We save their lives and find each one of them a family that will love and care for them, a family that will hold them and make them feel safe, valued and worth loving for the rest of their lives.
About This Cause
Niagara Dog Rescue was founded in 2015. We are a volunteer based, cross-border not-for-profit, organization created to SAVE the LIVES of DOGS that are OUT OF TIME in high kill shelters. Dogs that have done nothing wrong yet end up in a pound where inevitably they will be scheduled to die when there is a need for space. We work to find each one of these dogs a loving, forever home. We are located in the Greater Toronto Area, in Ontario. Our rescue consistently helps dogs from Canada, the U.S.A., Korea, Iran, Nepal, Kuwait. We are a foster based rescue, we have no shelter. Our dogs are placed with foster families until we find forever homes for them. Each foster family we have is a dog we can save.
