Mission Statement The YMCA of Greater Vancouver is a charity dedicated to strengthening the foundation of community. Since 1886, the YMCA has been a welcoming community for all people-a place for Vancouverites to become stronger through programs and services that foster a healthy life. Though the world may be unpredictable, one thing remains certain - the YMCA is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, secure and connected children and youth, families and communities.
