Feral and Abandoned Cat Society (FAACS)

SYDNEY, Nova Scotia, B1P6G9 Canada

Mission Statement

Recognizing that a modern society values the life, safety, and well being of companion animals, the Feral and Abandoned Cat Society endeavours to follow that philosophy for felines. Through the implementation of a Trap-Neuter-Return program, accompanied with public education to try to reduce suffering, illness, and exploding populations, our society focuses on cats and colonies on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Identification, supervision, compassion, professional veterinary services and monitoring are the guidelines of society members in our work of improving the lives of homeless cats.
