To be the leader in men's health support that impowers men to be responsible for their health
About This Cause
1. The Foundation holds monthly information awareness sessions where medical and other health professionals are invited to discuss health issues affecting men. The sessions are usually 3 hours and are held 9 times a year. 2a. The Foundation is invited by Corporate, Community, Church and other groups to present on Prostrate Cancer issues that affects black men and the importance of getting checked early. 2b We share our experiences as Prostrate Cancer survivors and encourage men to take responsibility for their health and well being. The Foundation is a member of True North Peer Navigation Program which is associated with Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The program provides peer support to men on Prostrate Cancer issues. Two members of the Foundation are active Peer Navigator
