Mission Statement
Our mission is two-fold: 1) To Rescue, rehabilitate and provide safe homes for unwanted and abandoned domesticated rats. 2) To encourage, educate and support rat-parents and potential rat-parents so that more rats can have happier, healthier lives.
About This Cause
Ottawa Pet Rat Rescue (OPRats) is involved in local rescue, rehabilitation, fostering, and adopting of unwanted or abandoned domesticated rats. We support local humane societies, animal shelters and other independant animal welfare organizations to find the best placement and care for unwanted or abandoned domesticated rats.
