About This Cause
The Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alberta Health Services that allows us to begin our capital project- the expansion of the Vulcan Community Health Centre. Architectural drawings of the facility are close to being prepared for the construction of the new 800+ square meter addition which will house a state of the art Medical Clinic and Wellness Centre. We believe we can get shovels in the ground by mid-2017. We need your support! The Foundation is responsible for raising $4.5 million dollars for this project. As of March, 2017 the Town of Vulcan and Vulcan County have agreed to support this endeavour by matching each dollar that is raised by the Foundation. You DONATION IS TRIPLED!! We have raised about $1.1 million and with matched dollars, we now have over $3.1 million dedicated towards this worthy project. The Board of Trustees would like to thank the Town of Vulcan, Vulcan County and its’ respective ratepayers for supporting our fundraising efforts. We would also like to thank the many donors who have contributed generously to this project. Donate now to ATB Cares, they will add an additional 15% to your donation and the Foundation will TRIPLE it!
