About This Cause
MISSION Our mission is to help build a framework (or network) of partners within HRM that can encourage, learn from, contribute to, link with and measure the effectiveness of compassionate initiatives throughout the municipality, province, region, nation and around the world. We will work to foster a growing culture of compassion, expressed through love, friendship, kindness, respect, politeness, empathy, and ethics; and expressed in all areas of life – interpersonal relationships, family dynamics, education and health, the common good of politics and public service, the acknowledgement and inclusion of difference, the exchanges of commerce, and on the city streets.
