Mission Statement
We fill our lives with music and we share it with others.Strings Attached Orchestra (SAO) brings music into the lives of musicians and the community alike. We are strong believers in the importance of community music-making and the positive impact it makes on our audiences as well as the orchestra members.
About This Cause
Our orchestra is a member driven community string orchestra of 40 amateur musicians devoted to bringing live music to communities across the greater Toronto area.Each year we play 4-8 community concerts in hospitals,retirement homes, libraries, daycares and other community venues We are a Canadian registered charity. We are governed and directed by the SAO members and are built on transparency. All contributions go towards the direct costs of running the orchestra, and our financial information is openly available to the members.
