Mission Statement
ALS is a fatal disease with no known cure nor effective treatment. ALS Double Play exists only to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and support research for ALS.
About This Cause
ALS Double Play was born when our Founder's brother, Christopher, became ill with ALS at the age of 32. With no known history in their family and with little knowledge about the disease, Cherrie researched ALS. The more her family learned about the fatal disease, the more Cherrie realized she needed to do something to help. Sadly, Christopher lost his battle with ALS in the fall of 2016, just 5 years after his diagnosis. While his battle is over, ALS Double Play's is not. We will continue to raise awareness so that funds can be raised and research can continue for this devastating disease.
