About This Cause
The Halifax NS Down Syndrome Society is a volunteer, non-profit organization which acts as a resource to everyone with an interest in Down syndrome in Nova Scotia. We offer information and supports for New Parents of children with Down syndrome. The aim of the organization continues to be a resource and point of contact for families and other members of the Down syndrome community in Nova Scotia. The HNSDSS encourages other community groups across Nova Scotia to engage in programming and services for their members with Down syndrome. As a registered non-profit organization, we are happy to assist other community groups with fundraising and other supports.
