About This Cause
Safety Days for Children: On average, eight children die every year on Canadian farms. That's why the FarmSafe Foundation supports Safety Days, the largest rural safety and health education program for children in North America that helps children learn to be safe on the farm. casa-acsa.ca/safetydays Farm Safety Resource Development and training: Farmsafety doesn't just happen. It takes time, resources, planning and training. That's why the FarmSafe Foundation supports the development of farmsafety resources and training to help Canadian farmers manage safety risks on their operations. casa-acsa.ca/training and casa-acsa.ca/CanadaFarmSafePlan Grain Safety Program: In 2015 alone, seven people died in Canada after being entrapped in grain. That's why the FarmSafe Foundation is supporting a fundraising campaign to help build the Grain Safety Program, a new initiative to provide grain safety education and rescue training to communities, workplaces and first responders through a mobile demonstration unit. casa-acsa/grain The Back to Ag Program for Injured Farmers: Every year, Canadian farmers and agricultural workers experience life-altering injuries. That's why the FarmSafe Foundation funds Back to Ag, a program that supports the cost of adaptive technology to traumatically injured farmers and workers. This program changes lives, and gets people back to farming! casa-acsa.ca/BacktoAg
