Our mission is to provide care, support and education to grieving children, youth and their families around death and dying, while building strength, resilience and hope.
About This Cause
The Dr. Jay Children’s Grief Centre provides counselling support and programming to children, youth and families who are living with terminal illness and grief. The Toronto-based charity offers programs and services at no cost to our clients including individual and family counselling, peer support programs and mentorship training for bereaved youth, an annual bereavement camp, monthly family nights, consultation and educational training to healthcare and mental health professionals, and research in the fields of children’s grief, illness and palliative care.
