Mission Statement
Working with funds raised by The Ride For Dad, the PCFF finances prostate cancer research projects and funds public awareness initiatives advocating early detection in an effort to save men's lives today.
About This Cause
The PCFF promotes prostate cancer research by funding research projects in the areas where the monies were raised. The PCFF also funds public awareness messaging in the areas where the monies were raised in an effort to encourage men to talk to their doctors and get checked. Prostate cancer is symptomless and early detection is the key to satisfactory outcomes. By doing so, the PCFF believes it can save men's lives TODAY, while research is a long term investment in improved detection methods, and treatment options. The PCFF is currently funded entirely by the fundraising efforts of the TELUS Ride For Dad and is dedicated to the responsible use and distribution of those funds.
