Mission Statement
Train the next generation of backstage production artists with summer and weekend workshops taught by Stratford artists, many of whom work for Stratford Festival.
About This Cause
Off the Wall (OTW) Stratford Artists Alliance has offered diverse series of summer courses and fall weekend workshops in theatre production arts since 2005. Off the Wall offers contract employment to Stratford Festival artists and production artists from across Ontario, so that they may share their lifetime of experience in backstage production arts in small-group hands-on workshops. Students creative skills are developed to produce many projects during the workshops, often in a collaborative manner. OTW is a pioneer in backstage production arts skills training and students travel internationally to attend the workshops. Community engagement and collaboration is frequent with local museums, arts displays and youth workshops.
