About This Cause
We awake and inspire lives by empowering people to discover and embrace their infinite potential. We believe that is the key to everyone living a life they love, while still balancing their connection to one another and the planet. We offer courses, workshops, support groups, retreats, meditation, inspirational materials and ongoing events for personal growth; through a focus on body/mind health, spiritual inquiry and positive mindfulness practices - especially in Nature. We partner with other wholistic practitioners, artists, thought leaders and community change-makers through our wellness centre, the multi-purpose spaces we manage, and through our community and charitable initiatives. We also offer a lending library, life ritual facilitation, "extra grace" support in times of need, and one-on-one treatment sessions for individuals (through our licensed SOM Practitioners). At The Centre, individuals acquire conscious living habits that transform their personal lives, their relationships, their workplaces, and their communities. We believe that empowered and mindful people foster environments of connection and harmony that make a difference at both the individual, and the planetary level. Our main organizing principle is Oneness, meaning that all beings are part of the Whole of Life, and that we are all connected. We believe that where one person suffers or succeeds, we all suffer or succeed, and that each person’s existence is an essential part of the whole. We welcome all races, ethnicities, religions, countries of origin, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities; EVERYONE. As well as nurturing our members and students, we also regularly contribute to other community organizations, through donations of our "time, talent and treasure".
