About This Cause
P.A.C.S. -Pierre's Alley Cat Society is a registered charity. Founded in 2005 by Pierre Filiatreault, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The mission started with the protection of the feral cats population at the HMC naval dockyard. Pierre began a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program on the HMC Dockyard to control and care for the growing feral cat population. Currently the population of the Dockyard cats is stable; there have been no kittens born in the colony since 2007. This caring mission continues.
