Mission Statement
Since 2001, the Niqinik Nuatsivik Nunavut Food Bank has been working towards reducing the number of people who are hungry in Iqaluit, and in other parts of Nunavut. We are a not for profit organization which dedicates 95% of our income to providing food for the local community.
About This Cause
The Niqinik Nuatsivik Nunavut Food Bank is a not for profit organization which dedicates 95% of our income to providing food for the local community. Today in Nunavut, 1 in 3 families suffer from food insecurity according to Stats Canada. This is four times the national average. We cannot achieve our goals alone and so are seeking the help of corporate donation partners to effectively serve the community.
