About This Cause
We are based in Aldea Chivarabal, Tecpán, Guatemala, and our work begins by listening to communities, allowing them to share their needs and aspirations. We then collaborate with them to create solutions based around our mission of education, nutrition, health, and economic opportunities, ensuring a future filled with possibility. Our programs include quality education, health and well-being initiatives, farm-to-table nutrition, vocational training, and efforts to combat inequality. The Project Somos Learning Village was established by Compassion Fruit Society, a Canadian non-profit charitable organization founded in 2002.
