About This Cause
St. George's YouthNet is a non-profit youth organization in the North End of Halifax offering free programs to children and youth living in or near Uniacke Square, a public housing neighbourhood. YouthNet's programs include an after-school, lunch and teen program during the school year and day camps and wilderness camping trips in the summer. YouthNet's programs offer a safe and supportive environment for youth to build lasting friendships. YouthNet staff and volunteers encourage youth to challenge themselves to try new things, build self-confidence and dream of bright futures for themselves.
