Mission Statement

Museum of Fire Fighting history for the Halifax, Nova Scotia region.

About This Cause

Our non-profit organization is a wonderful collection of firefighting memorabilia and equipment for all to enjoy, learn and honour. Some of our collection has been donated by community members, businesses and fire stations. We also have displayed items, and fire engines that have been on loan from individual owners. All of the displays we currently have belong to the museum. Due to a structure collapse in early 2015, we have been closed for rebuilding. Thus, we have had very little donations to rely upon to keep the museum going. Our Grand Re-Opening has finally come and we are now open for business! But our future expenses are threatening to close our doors forever. We do not have any other such tribute to our First Responders in our region, and it would be a great loss to the area if we had to close. With your help, we can keep our bay doors open and promote our little site further so we may gain popularity and increase our support! Thank you!
