Our mission is to leverage Canada’s affinity for hockey to raise awareness and financial support for the homeless through education, fundraising, and partnering with solutions-based local homeless support agencies.
About This Cause
Hockey Helps the Homeless is a national registered charity, now in its 27th year, that organizes fantasy pro-am, volunteer-run hockey tournaments where men and women get a chance to play with hockey greats and raise funds of the estimated 250,000 people who will experience homelessness in Canada this year. Since 1996, HHTH has raised over $24 million in support of more than 50 local homelessness relief agencies across Canada.
