About This Cause
West Country Hearth is a senior's facility located in the beautiful hamlet of Villeneuve, Alberta. We provide residential housing for over 80 residents (independent, homecare, supportive living and dementia care). WCH is operated by the charitable, non-profit organization of West Sturgeon People Aging in Place Foundation. We are proud to be a CARF International Accredited organization. Our residents enjoy: Excellent nursing care provided by our caring and compassionate staff Spacious Living Nutritious meals prepared in-house daily by our dedicated culinary team Exceptional housekeeping and laundry services A full range of recreational activities We strive to provide exceptional services for our seniors and continually look at ways to improve our service and ensure West Country Hearth is a "home" that they can enjoy. Fundraising activities help us to improve the quality of life for our seniors. In recent years we have updated our inside and outside furniture making it safer and more enjoyable, switched to keyless locks and we are one of the first organizations in Alberta to have a Tovertofel Magic Table. This table was designed specifically for people with dementia. At West Country Hearth we pride ourselves in being a "home of choice" and strive to provide innovative technology, programs and resources for our seniors.
