Mission Statement
Our mission at Precious Minds is to support individuals in our community who have developmental challenges to meet their highest potential. We do this by offering programs and services to develop skills for life and providing holistic family support.
About This Cause
Since 1999, Precious Minds has been supporting children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities in North Durham, Ontario to meet their highest potential. We offer programs designed to engage, inspire, and develop skills for life. Participants explore a variety of educational, physical, recreational, and creative activities in a positive and safe environment. Individualized levels of support are provided to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible! We also offer volunteer opportunities for members of the community and students enrolled in relevant fields of study. To provide family support, we offer services such as informational sessions, networking, service navigation, and respite. Throughout the year, we also offer events for the entire family.
