Mission Statement

Mission: The Quebec Veterans Foundation supports essential programs for veterans who face significant challenges during their transition to civilian life. Our main area of interest is associated with traumas related to operational stress injuries (OSI) - both physical and mental - as well as challenges related to substance abuse and depression. Additionally, we fund therapeutic, social, and commemorative programs for veterans residing at the Ste. Anne’s Hospital in long-term care. We firmly believe that the men and women who have served our country should all feel pride and find a new purpose by contributing to their community as part of their civilian life. They have represented our Canadian values around the world, here and elsewhere, by providing assistance to vulnerable people, offering security to those in danger, and showing empathy and comfort towards stigmatized populations.

About This Cause

Thousands of veterans of all ages face personal and specific challenges during their transition to civilian life. Initiatives funded by the Quebec Veterans Foundation help them access a better life marked by dignity, resilience, and strength. This is achieved through parallel care and services, including activities tailored to their needs, in collaboration with health professionals at Ste-Anne Hospital and external partners from several regions of Quebec who offer programs adapted to the challenges faced.
