Mission Statement
Maintain a regular place of worship for the followers of Malankara Orthodox Christian faith in Calgary and proclaim The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Operate and maintain Sunday School for the Study and learning of the holy bible. Conduct family prayer meetings at members residences, and engage in MGOCSM (Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement) activities. Conduct regular meetings for students to deepen the spiritual life and prepare them to be responsible citizens in the church and society.
About This Cause
ST Mary's Orthodox church conducts a variety of fund raising events to support the local community and international causes like the recent earthquake relief in Syria. We also collaborate with other charities like Mustard seed, samaritan's purse and united way. Our church also supports the preservation of traditions and cultural heritage of Alberta's southeast asian community. per year Youth social gatherings 40 Collaborative Programs. 6 Social/educational events 5 Children's day 1 Family Picnic 1
