Mission Statement
The Foundation's mission is to support the Music and Arts learning experience of economically challenged children and youth at risk.
About This Cause
The Minstrel Foundation is dedicated to securing and expanding the opportunities for inner city youth and new immigrant communities to study and excel in music and the arts. To date, the Minstrel Foundation has been instrumental in launching the Regent Park School of Music, in expanding music and arts programs at the Dixon Hall Music School, Pia Bouman School of Dance, Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus, Hammer Band and University Settlement Music School, and in sponsoring disadvantaged youth to attend summer music and arts camps.
