To provide safe, temporary emergency shelter and programs for distressed youth ages 12-17.

About This Cause

Through the operation of Sunrise House, The Grande Prairie Youth Emergency Shelter provides emergency and transitional shelter for youth ages 12-17. In addition to shelter, our program provides Family Support & Reunification and Housing & Permanency Supports. Sunrise House is the only youth emergency shelter in Northwestern Alberta and serves an average of 150 youth per year.
