Mission Statement
The foundation was established to provide scholarship, bursaries, fellowship, prizes and financial assistance to students living in Ontario with particular consideration to the greater Burlington area who for reasons of outstanding educational achievement or financial need are worthy candidates to receive financial assistance in post secondary education.
About This Cause
Since 1992, the Foundation has paid out $389,500 in awards. Funds to establish the Foundation in 1991 were the built up Bingo funds raised in the Communtiy by the RCBL. $50,000 in Bingo funds were given to the Foundation. Since then, the Foundation has grown through 1) investment earnings, 2) contributions from our club earned through Ribfest fundraising of over $400,000, and other donations.
