Mission Statement
a) To provide for the recreation of the members and to promote and afford opportunity for friendly and social activities, mainly of a musical nature; b) to give and arrange musical and dramatic entertainments
About This Cause
This Band is one the oldest Community Bands in Edmonton, and continues to offer opportunities for amateur musicians of ALL ages and backgrounds to play and perform a broad range of music, to enhance their skills, and, equally important, to provide entertainment for the public. In a typical year the Band gives some 9 to 12 performances, most at various Seniors' facilities. All band members are volunteers, but the Conductor does receive a modest honorarium.
